Data Matters with Excel®

Requirements
You will be required to create histograms for the Data Matters projects. To create histograms in Excel, you will need the Data Analysis add-in. To check whether you have the add-in, select Tools. If one of the options is Data Analysis, then you can proceed.

If Data Analysis is not an option under Tools, select Add-Ins. Click on the box next to Data Analysis. If that box is not there, you or a computer administrator will have to use the installation discs for Excel to add the Data Analysis tools. If that cannot be arranged, you will have a very hard time doing parts of the projects described here.

Data Sets for Excel. Click the appropriate link to download the file. Make sure macros are enabled when opening the file.
